This is an amazing little spit and wound camera.
I purchased it as I wanted something with the purpose of would take really pleasant photos but might be without doubt slipped into my handbag whilst on vacation. My DSLR and lenses are a little bulky to be lugging around all sunlight hours.

My to start with range past appraisal tons of reviews was the Canon SX20, largely as I really didn't wish for to sacrifice a viewfinder, plus it had the HD film capability. But I partake of to grow a hands on the result to start with and veto provisions in our area had solitary in horses.

When I found the L110 was honorable being released I decisive to allocate it a move....I partake of to admit I am impressed....This is a neat little camera. I've read several reviews somewhere dwell in are dissapointed with the purpose of in attendance aren't in the least instruction manual settings, but the many set skin tone are really safe intended for honorable roughly speaking all conditions.

One facet with the purpose of I really like is the smart depiction setting - the camera will necessarily wound the pic while it detects a smile. This facet helped me grow several of the cutest photos of our baby nephew. When I was wearisome on plain sedan mode I missed the smile all spell. Theres plus a setting with the purpose of will permit you know if someone blinked with a pop up on screen advice. This certainly helps steer clear of individuals *would've been a large pic if simply you hadn't blinked* photos with the purpose of you notice hours past the event.

At the same time as intended for digital zoom...I don't really like it on in the least camera...So odds are I won't abuse it if totally compulsory. But, I did try it not in and found with the purpose of using the jam-packed zoom capabilities you can grow a pretty impressive photo of the moon, craters and all :O) (I'll column a photo I took of the moon with the L110) I did need to abuse a stand though, as next to with the purpose of power zoom the camera shake was pretty bad. But it might be honorable me, I don't partake of the steadiest of hands.

I plus love with the purpose of I can EP HD film, even indoors in low light it's not really with the purpose of bad while played on a HD tube. Outdoors in natural light it is pretty impressive. However, its not intended to use instead a cope with deserted film camera so don't expect Hollywood results. Oh and the mic isn't ideally placed, but thats probably to decrease the recording of the lens movement while zooming (it already picks up on it so steer clear of zooming if possible)

All in all its a large camera and I didn't really learn in the least real cons to it. It positively isn't a *pocket* camera, but its not bulky either, somewhere in the hub I'd say.
Oh and as intended for battery life.....Using either the not obligatory recommended Nikon rechargeables, or the incorporated energizer ultimates you won't be dissapointed, I honorable can't seem to grow either of them to run not in of power.
